The main leather belt is exactly 42 inches, while the strapping belt is 54 inches, which makes it difficult to secure if you have a larger waist. The plates themselves are smaller than expected — they’re not nearly as long or wide as they appear on the model photos. They do integrate well into a costume, but they lack the durability of true armour-grade materials. For LARP or cosplay, this works well, especially in a lightest-touch or sword-tag system. However, if you participate in anything more intense, this won’t offer meaningful protection. Overall, it’s a cool item, but it’s a bit more expensive than I expected given the thinness of the material.
