The metalic finish with display stand is a beautiful addition to my collection of speed cubes. Not only does this look spectacular, it functions very smoothly too.Out of the box it turns were a bit tight for my liking. I popped off each center to adjust the tension screw. I raised the tension screw 3-4 turns so the head of the screw is flush with the plastic housing. Now the turns are buttery smooth. While the cube is smooth, it is a bit noisy. There is rickety spring noise from the center shaft mechanisms.As a magnetic speed cube, I can feel turns propel themselves to complete a rotation. The internal magnets are positioned/oriented so the common magnetic poles repel and opposite poles attract. It really saves seconds and reduces hand motion to just a flick of a finger and the layer just snaps into place. See my video.My only issue is the orange and yellow metalic finish are very close in color. In very low light or very bight light they are a bit difficult to distinguish. I wished copper tone represented the orange color as silver represents white and gold represents yellow.I'm very happy to have this metalic magnetic speed cube.
