He also suggested using a wooden mallet or rubber hammer to hammer any cold areas on the radiators to remove any sludge that may have stuck there. **Q: Can I just pour this into the rad tank in loft or into magnaclean?** A: Hi Vinoir Yes, in a gravity fed system you would want to put this into the header tank in the loft space. Please make sure you pour this into the correct tank as it cannot be mixed with drinking water.
