I have a partial underground basement and while I have plenty of ceiling fans. windows and screen doors, the air still is still a little stagnant. This helped air it out so much. Because it's downstairs, I love using the bluetooth option on this fan instead of constantly asking my kids if it's on. Also, when I clean downstairs, I like turning on the timer as well so I could walk away and not have to remember to turn it off later (whether by remote or bluetooth). It has lots of great features and it looks beautiful.
