Review: Get the largest that fit in the microwave :-) - Got two 1kg ones as these are the largest that will fit in a microwave. 'Silica gel is a powerful desiccant, capable of adsorbing up to 40% of its own weight in water vapor'. In a small car (Ford Fiesta) the one on the front dashboard lasted 2 weeks through rain and cold weather before turning pink (not red). The one in the boot/trunk was still blue, and used to replace the front one when drying that out. The label says 6-12 minutes in a 700W microwave. I gave it 3min sessions (in an 800W micro), then a 2 min rest. 3 times, total 9 mins. Make sure to position them so the microwave turntable can still rotate. It was then hot and steaming, so I gave it two more 3 min sessions (with rests inbetween) on the lowest setting just to let the microwave fan exhaust the moisture that was steaming out. Then left on a radiator for a couple of hours to fully dry out. Having two bags gives you the freedom for this. Don't do things by halves as these are totally re-usable and also can be used around the house if need be. It may not totally clear the inside windscreen on a bad day, but leaves such a thin mist that the normal air blower/heater will remove that in 30secs or so. Without these, the windscreen would have been dripping wet on the inside, so they work well.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How many of these will i need for a car with really bad condensation?**
A: I have just one. Place it on dash at night and dry it out as per instructions each week. You might need an extra if you have a bad boot too. Mine is a hard top convertible which is renowned for leaks and one is plenty in the cabin to deal with all windows.

**Q: I have bought this and have tried to charge it in microwave but refuses to go back to blue? it stays white, why is it not going back to original blue**
A: I haven't tried mine in the microwave, I put it on the radiator to dry out.  Did it after a few weeks in the car, but mine is still blue and working.

**Q: Does this really clear the windscreen overnight ?**
A: If your meaning does it clear the frost then no. It keeps the interior windows clear and fog free when you get in. It really does work well. The other morning it was -2 and car was totally frozen, defrosted outside and completely clear within a minute of starting the car.

**Q: Can it be used in the bedroom by the window?**
A: I use them in the corners of the bedrooms, On the out side walls where you get a bit of damp appearing,
 They do the job you may need two, I have tried used them in a window, But the windows get a lot of condensation over night so may help 
a small amount but will not get rid of it all.

These actually work to reduce/eliminate fogging on the inside windows of your automobile. We have two large ones & alternate as needed. The indicator spot (blue/pink) works well. I'd buy them again. Recommended
