Even tried cold brewing and was still bitter. This is a high quality tea that I will buy again. I think it must be the orange pekoe that is doing the trick for me. It's color is a little lighter than I'm used to, but the flavor is just right. Would recommend this tea to others. Review: Best Tea for Brewing your Own Pot - The tea is delicious! We buy it often and drink it all the time. It makes great iced tea in the summer and hot tea in the winter. One of the things we like the most is that it doesn’t turn cloudy in the refrigerator. Also, it doesn’t taste tannic. It has a fresh, clear taste. Loose-leaf tea gives a much better cup of tea. I have a teapot (also bought here on desertcart) that filters the leaves to brew it. Try this tea; I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the clear, smooth taste! ## Features - Premium grade Orange Pekoe A - Large Whole Leaf Tea grade - Sourced from Sri Lanka (Ceylon) high-altitude tea gardens. - Ideal steeping: near boiling (~100 °C / 212 °F) for around 3-5 minutes.
