I am a serious bass fisherman getting out several times a week. Usually I buy more expensive rods, like St Croix. Last year I decided to try Picsifun and Kastking rods & reels. I was reluctant because I was thinking you get what you pay for. Well I have to say they are awesome products that give you the rare impression that you got more than you paid for.This Kastking rod is lightweight, strong, well-balanced, comfortable, and has quality line guides and flawless workmanship. It came packaged well in a solid tube with inserts holding it from rattling around inside. At under $40, this rod is as good as rods costing many times the price. You gotta give Kastking a try!

This KastKing Royal Legend rod casts like a dream. I ordered the 7’3” medium action fast taper for the light weight and it’s great backbone. I am definately happy with the stiffness but very sensitive tip. The rod is not only built very well, it looks beautiful. Right now it is paired with an 20 year old reel that I have enjoyed very much. However, I really think now after using the carbon rod I will add a new KastKing ,much lighter weight reel also. This was my second KastKing rod ,my first being the WideEye jig & rig that is perfect for walleye fishing ( it also is very sensitive and very well made). This probably sounds like a paid advertisement; but it is not. I am 66 years old and have arthritis and nerve damage in both hands and wrists. I have had hand and shoulder surgeries but was still having pain and missed fish due to my conditions. These rods have helped both because of the light weight and their sensitivity. I am once again able to fish longer and my fish per trip has improved triple fold. One last note, I also own a KastKing rod stand that is also made very well. I feel confident buying KastKing products.

I am about to start my third season with this rod.. and I can't wait. After a 30 year fishing hiatus, naturally I had to buy all new tackle.. so I did my research and decided that I needed a baitcaster (they have come a very long way in ease of use in 30 years) and this is the rod I paired with the reel I bought. The performance is awesome! I get nice casts with this rod and the action is sensitive enough to feel small panfish and tough for the big largemouth hogs! I plan on buying another this season so I can have 2 dedicated rods for Bass or Walleye, both fish are fighters and this rod will handle it just fine!

This is the first Kast King rod I have purchased, and it hits all of the checkmarks I have for an excellent rod. Kast King puts out some quality items that should last a long time and sell like crazy. Price point is what brings fisherman to try their products. They are however inching up in price and will soon price themselves out of the niche. Part of their Big-time appeal is that they are priced so that anyone can afford to purchase them. I hope that they can keep it real (no pun intended), if not, nobody is going to pay 100.00 plus dollars for their product and a lot of new anglers are going to miss out. I plan to buy more Kast King rods and Reels as long as the price stays down.

Just got the Royale Legend pole and picked up the Royale Legend baitcaster reel and boy what a combo! I love them both! I ordered a cheaper Ugly Stick casting pole for my Dad and there is a huge difference between the two poles. The Ugly Stick feels like about the weight (a little heavier) but is thick thru the handle... and I have trouble with that for my preference. Tne KastKing pole gives you more control. The Ugly Stick is a good pole, but nothing like the Kastking. The Ugly Stick feels more like a two hand heave type of pole. The Kastking pole feels better in my hands and is good for flipping and long casts one handed. Sure it’s slightly more expensive but very much worth it. I got the one piece 7” MH, run 20lb Kastking braid with a KastKing 12lb Flourokote leader and the rod responds perfectly. Very sensitive but with the power to pull through cover. I admit i guess I might be a bit of a KastKing fan boy but only because they’re earned it with me. I have some very nice poles and reels but KastKing has earned my respect. For reels I also have two Centurian 3000’s, one 4000, and one 5000. All are flawless. I will be purchasing more KastKing poles to replace my old ones for sure. I also use their tackle storage bins and they are just fine. I think I need a KastKing hat now! Lol. Great company, great products, and I suggest you give them a shot with high confidence.

Received rod put a new KastKing Spartacus Plus reel on the rod and headed out to the pond. Set up the reel for the new rod and Instantly was bombing my lure out over the water. 2 casts later I set the hook on a 3 pound Bass the rod whooped that fish's butt. I spend the next hour casting and hauling in Bass. I love the sensitivity and power this rod has Rod seat is rock solid line flows effortlessly through the Guides which means My cast distance is super far. I have All Star rods from My tournament fishing days that cost me double what I paid for this rod I can tell no difference other then the Price. I am happy I chose the KastKing Royal Legend I will be buying More from this company in the future.Had some more fishing time with this rod today WOW exceeds my expectations I cant say enough about how nice this rod is its definitely gonna be my favorite set up for all Worm fishing in the future

Finally received my Kast King 7' Royal Select casting rod and I have to say.... what a beautiful piece of craftsmanship! This thing is perfect! When I added my Lew's Speed Spool LFS to the reel seat, it felt like it was meant to be. This thing feels like an extension of your arm. Hundreds of casts and with it being so lightweight, you won't get tired. The look and feel of this rod makes you think it's at least a $250 rod. If you ask me, it works better than a $250 rod. You can feel every rock or stump you hit when you slow roll a jig or weightless soft plastic along the bottom. I hooked into a decent 3lb largemouth the other day and when it hit my jig, I instantly felt it. The MH power was perfect for bringing that bad boy to shore. I love my Kast King and I will definitely be purchasing more.
