Its somewhat effective and seems to have helped to slow my hair loss. When I stopped using it, it definitely showed how much of a difference it was making. I would advise not to use unless recommended by someone who knows what they're talking about, as the product has different 'systems' depending on each individuals need. My hairdresser did a course that taught her about how these products work and who should be using them, so I trust her judgement on this. The difference is amazing, but don’t expect to notice it over night. It takes a long time. Old shampoo lathered better using smaller amount, therefore new bottle doesn’t last as long. You only need one wash and only condition the ends of your hair not your scalp.
