A: I wasn’t aware that the bases came in different sizes. I have the walnut and it is very very nice.  An unusual coat stand.

Very pleased with this coat rack. It is easy to put together, the seperate peices fit together easily and once assembled it is solid and sturdy and looks great. I like the modern design of the rack, the hooks fold down and lock in place and feel very sturdy. We have been using ours for a few days now and hung quite a few coats on it and am pleased that the heavy base and solid construction mean it doesn't move or sway about.
