Forcing it out like one video shows is just showing you don't read instructions and follow them. Its not rocket science its just nature. If it doesn't come out easily rinse for 10-30 seconds longer. I let the warm water sit in the middle for a few more seconds. They do come out and these are great for travel. I'm buying 2 more for when I travel with more than a couple friends. Even with the less than stellar reviews I've always loved this brand so I gave them a try and I love them!

These are amazing! I'd like to see the negative reviewers remove ice from the old metal ice trays with the lever. Hahaha these are a piece of cake compared to old ice cube trays! Will definitely purchase more! I love the size of the little cubes! They seal so your ice doesn't taste or smell bad. Stackable I have no clue why? You fill to the line and then slowly insert middle. Love these Tovolo ice cylinders because you can fit them nearly anywhere and take them with you, if needed. My ice machine made too much noise, took up too much space, and is useless in winter so turned it off, removed the bin, and looked for an alternative that didn't necessarily need a flat space -- these are perfect. Works as indicated with no issues. No pooling at bottom, easy release, cute little cubes pour out. I also freeze my glasses in summertime to add frostiness. I have other Tovolo products that are amazing so felt confident to buy during a limited-time discount period.
