It follows that for a 40 sq. m. lawn 1000g to 1400g needs to be applied per month. Using that figure, a 40 sq. m. lawn needs total of 7000g to 9800g each year (7 -10kg per year). For such a lawn a 25kg bag would last 2 to 3 years. It's very important to keep such fertilizers bone-dry, so the un-used portion should be stored in a sealed container, such as a plastic tub with a clip-tight lid. **Q: how to use** A: I grow potatoes in buckets and so use about one 25ml spoon to each bucket mixed with the initial layer of compost. that measurement can be applied to raised beds and such, raked into the soil. They can survive the cold ,frost, love hot dry conditions but I was told by an expert that to get beautiful blooms in abundance then this is the stuff to use. Someone they know uses it and the results are fantastic. I've already put it on the ones in pots (which must be watered in the summer) and will redo in the spring.
