There is a up and down arrow on the automatic opening button as though it can be opened and closed using this and this is not the case. Opens fine but feels like it could go a bit further which it doesn't (I have checked) but I think this is because I am used to torpedo speed missile like opening umbrellas ;-). Hope it doesn't blow inside out in the wind! Bit difficult to close, you kind of have to hold the handle against your body and push the umbrella closed from the outside - this may get easier with use and the cover is a bit of a tight fit.
