I got stepped on several times while wearing these 🙄 and it stayed intact without any scratches or defects afterwards. I wore these for 8 hours straight and the heels of my feet never hurt. The only issue I had was with my pinky it was extremely tight and hurt a lot, however I only had that issue with my right foot, make sure that you adjust the straps well on the back in a way that feels comfortable before wearing it out. Chunkier heels tend to be more comfortable then the thin ones I got these in a 7.5 which is my regular size.
