A general rule is to check the top 2–3 cm of soil and if it feels dry, water lightly. Avoid letting plants sit in water as this can cause root rot. **Q: Where should I place my plant?** A: Most houseplants prefer bright, indirect light. Some indoor plants can tolerate low light, while others prefer sunny spots. Always check the specific plant’s needs. **Q: Do I need to repot my houseplant?** A: Not immediately. Most plants are fine in their nursery pot for several months, but will eventually need more space to stay healthy. If you see roots coming out of the drainage holes, the soil drying out quickly, or slowed growth, it’s time to repot. **Q: My plant’s leaves are turning yellow. What should I do?** A: Yellow leaves are usually caused by overwatering, poor drainage, or lack of light. Let the soil dry out a little and move the plant to a brighter spot. **Q: Do houseplants help clean the air?** A: Many houseplants can help improve indoor air quality and add humidity, creating a calming atmosphere. ## Frequently Bought Together - Carbeth Plants - Indoor Plants - Build Your Own Houseplant Collection - 7cm to 9cm Pots - Bunny Ears Cactus - Opuntia Microdasys Plant in 8.5cm Pot - Opuntia Microdasys Bunny Ears Cactus in a 8.5cm Pot - Indoor Cactus Plant --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/607883070-carbeth-plants-bunny-ears-cactus-opuntia-microdasys-plant-in-8](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/607883070-carbeth-plants-bunny-ears-cactus-opuntia-microdasys-plant-in-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
