I am 5'6" 114 # and other braces wrap so far around and are bulky. This brace comes in a small enough size to fit well. I was dubious about the pads but they are comfortable and seem to offer a bit more support in the right places. They only reason this is not a 5 star review is that despite the cool max, this brace is still hot. Not as bad as some others and I do think to get adequate support without obnoxious stays that poke into your ribs (found in some braces with lighter weight and cooler material this is best you can do.
