The cupholders are directly in front of my arm rest and it placed my phone directly in my way. I purchased this because of price and because of reviews.I use it to hold my Samsung S23 Ultra in a case. The phone holder is just wide enough for that. I don't even have to clamp it down. I attached it to my windshield because my dash is all curvy, therefore I could not find a flat spot the suction cup would stick. The mount also comes with a vent clip, but I didn't use that.I took it down for a test drive down a very bumpy road. It's one of those roads where you reach for the volume and end up punching yourself in the face. The mount and phone stayed perfectly still and showed no wobble or weakness.I am taking a trip next week and I will update you on the sturdiness of the device if anything changes.
