It is a 2-part plastic frame, with rubberised bumper protector which sleeves over the frame once the frame has been clipped around the ipad. This alone is extremely good for the money, and I was surprised at how good the quality was. But on top of this mine was supplied with two screen protectors, a screen wipe cloth, and a pen which acts as a stylus on the other end.The case fits perfectly, a little fiddly at the start however soon all makes sense. The angle of the in-built stand is perfect for watching films at a desk or to have up for work/reading documents. The plastic case and bumper will ensure that most drops and bangs are easily absorbed and keeping the ipad safe. I have only scored 4/5 due to the fact some of the plastic inner case parts and stand could be made of a slightly more durable material, but this could be perceived as nit picking!See photos below & if you found this review useful please feel free to click the button below. The outer edge of the rubber has small bobbles which give you a good grip to hold with. The interior is made of a hard plastic into which the iPad is fitted, and a softer silicone rubber surround which makes the whole case easier to grip and gives a more pleasant appearance. The rear of the hard case has two shallow recesses where your fingers naturally sit when holding the iPad, but there is also a foldout stand for use when viewing videos etc.At first I was struggling to see how to insert the iPad, but if you slip off the outer cover, the inner hard shell splits to allow the iPad to be placed inside. The case comes with a screen protector and combined pen and stylus.The iPad fits well into the case and is held firmly. All sockets and buttons on the iPad are still accessible and usable.
