## Description

Sensitive equipment needs protection, and since 1976 the answer has been the Pelican Protector Case. These cases are designed rugged, and travel the harshest environments on earth. Against the extreme cold of the arctic or the heat of battle, Pelican cases have survived. Made in the USA, these tough cases are designed with an automatic purge valve, that equalizes air pressure, a watertight silicone O-ring lid, over-molded rubber handles and stainless steel hardware.

Review: Absolute quality! - This specific model of Pelican cases is the best gun case you can buy IMHO, water and air tight and very strong. I was able to fit my hunting rifle (with a scope) as well as a 12g shotgun and my 10mm pistol all in in the case easily and now have all my guns stored safely and securely whenever I take them out as well as in my home. The only thing I will say on a negative side is that it is not very easy to cut the foam out cleanly,make sure you have a brand new very sharp razor blade or scalpel to cut it with. To get the shape and size I wanted to fit my guns properly I just laid each gun on top of a piece of cardboard,traced around the gun and transferred the exact shape to the cardboard,cut it out and laid the cardboard stencils onto the foam so I could adjust the position of them all to find the best fit for all 3 guns together. Once I was satisfied with the positioning of all 3 guns and how they fit in the case I transferred the shape to the foam by using a sharpie to outline the cardboard stencil onto the foam and cut them out with a razor blade. The case is slightly expensive but for the protection you get and considering one of my guns is my fathers 1963 Belgium made rifle I was happy with the cost and consider it to be a very good investment and the case will last for a lifetime so is well worth the money! The latches are very strong and close securely and tight and there are lock holes to use 4 padlocks to keep it from being opened by anyone either in transport or at home,this means it will keep your children from getting into it and playing with something they should not have access to as well as keeping your guns secure while in transport on the airlines. Well designed and perfect for the purpose they are made for. These are also the same cases used by US military too so that alone should tell you they are high quality.If you love your guns and want them to be safe in any weather,storage or transport conditions then you will love this case! I highly recommend it to anyone who owns fire arms!

Excellent case. TSA approved. Very durable. It will probably last me a lifetime. There’s enough room you could get two scope rifles or one with accessories. Tight fit if you have a side mounted light.
