But now working again! - After panicking about what to do with my greenhouse when I go away, I stumbled on this. I have had it for a few weeks now. The set up was very easy, and is working a treat. All my plants are very happy, and not having to go every night to water my tomatoes is a plus. Worth the cost. If anything changes I will edit the post, but so far so good. EDIT: my product stopped working a few days ago. It worked perfect for a month then just packed up! The pump was trying to run but not sucking any water up! Spent half a day trying to get it go work without success. I have contacted the company who took my details but are yet to reply to me. desertcart have been great, already offered a full refund or a replacement. 5 stars to desertcart. No stars to the product! So a new edit. The company sent me a replacement unit out! I never asked for one or heard from the company it just appeared! I have managed to set this one up slightly differently. I had my other one in the greenhouse and I think it might have got to hot for it! So I built a post above the water butt for the machine to sit on. I think when I sited on ty his post I had it too high (although not above the 2 meters it says is too much). I moved it closer to the water butt and havent had a problem since. My tomatoe plants are massive! The only problem is the water running out! I have had to change my small water butt for a massive one! One more point, if you buy this and it breaks out of warranty, the parts inside are easily changeable. I put a bowl under the last dripper in the line which acts as a permanent indicator that the system is working. The kit comes with two long rolls of feeder hose and a very generous supply of drippers and pegs. Is the output adjustable? And what voltage is the pump please?** A: No moisture sensors - but as stated - more sun more pumping and vice versa. There is a manual adjustment on the pump from 1-5 which increases or decreases pump duration each time if is activated. No idea voltage, driven by integral photoelectric panel. **Q: Can somebody clarify what's in the box? Length of pipe, number of drippers please?** A: 24 drippers , my greenhouse is 12 feet and the length of pipes X 3 approx 36 to 40 feet **Q: I have a stream that pools a little at the end of my garden - about 30 cams deep but never empty. Would the system work there? How much Sun is needed?** A: Water source has to be deep enough for the filter and water level sensor to function (i.e. be suspended in the water reservoir by approx 10cm). Otherwise if low water level is not detected correctly pump will not switch off and be damaged. **Q: Could I use this to draw water from my well to water my garden? How long is the intake pipe to avoid putting the pump down the 3m deep well** A: It's not really designed for that kind of work and I doubt that you could make it function adequately.
