They are more like little meat loaves! They are savoury, satisfying and genuinely keep you full. No stomach discomfort either! I am converted to these form the sickly sweet processed bars I had been buying. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the worst thing I have ever tasted *by D***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2018* I was looking for a high protein meal replacement bar, and I wanted something that didn't feel like a sweet. A meat-based option seemed like a good idea so I started looking. If you're in a similar situation then I implore you to move on and keep looking.Although I purchased the sample pack, I decided to try the "beef" one first since it seemed the safest. On opening the pack you're greated with a slight scent that can only be described as "cheap dog food." The bar itself looks like an overtly moist slab of brown.The first bite truly confuses the senses as not only does it manage to be both too wet and too dry, but it also tastes like compressed canned tuna. There is nothing of beef in this bar. I even had to check the ingredients to see if we were being misled (or if it was even designed for human consumption). It's not even good tuna. It's the floor sweeping from the tuna canning factory compressed into a bar. I tried to go on, the second bite was still an oily-dry mouthful of tuna except this time there was an unexpected crunch of a sunflower seed. To say that the change in texture was unwelcome is an understatement. I'm not quite sure what the intention was because I'm mostly sure they didn't WANT to make it feel like a particularly nutty bowel movement.To conclude this unfortunate tale, I spent the whole night feeling ill with nothing but a fishy after-taste for company - one that refused to leave me after repeated teeth-brushing. I have three more packets left. I was tempted to give them to a friend's dog, but I fear it would be inhumane.
