First off do not buy the gel glue that come in the tube, I will admit that is def trash, HOWEVER, the one that comes in the nail brush applicator bottle is legit. Before applying gel nails be sure to do a a thorough manicure. After, a good nail dehydrator and primer is KEY. Once you’ve gone through those steps a trick I learned was to put a thin layer of the nail gel glue on your natural nails and cure for about 30 seconds. After you have cured the gel glue on top of your natural nails be sure to drill on the inside of the artificial nail for better adhesion. Apply another thin layer of the brush on gel glue to your natural nail and a layer at the base of the artificial nail, start by laying the artificial nail at a 45 degree angle and proceed slowly as you make contact with your natural nail. Once artificial nail is in place, flash cure for 30s. Finally, after a complete hand is done, place your whole hand under your UV lamp and cure for 60-90s. There you have it! If you follow these steps, your nails will last. On average this method could give you a good 2-3wk retention, realistically.
