Just seeing the excitement in his face made it an awesome choice for an 8 year old boy. Thankyou! Tried countless number of times to fix with superglue, but it would just break in a new location every time. Eventually, I got fed up and threw it away. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Overall decent lightsaber with nice sound and lights *by F***E on May 7, 2016* Overall decent lightsaber with nice sound and lights. My issue was that my 5 year old decided to play fight my 3 year old with it. The 3 year old was using his lightsaber from another company. The tip of this lightsaber is not strong plastic and it broke and shattered into many sharp pieces. The kids were not going at it that hard either. Thankfully, no one got hurt. We taped it up and the lights and sounds still work.
