Still working on trying to get this to cut even remotely well. I suspect the air assist is not strong enough. I have a 40 watt diode machine that will out perform this all day long. Save your money. I chose 1 star as I can't choose a negative number. *Update* After rewiring the high voltage wire that connects to the laser tube and remounting it to prevent it from arcing, then adding a air pump capable of providing enough air to actually cut material. The machine is now much more reliable and will cut 3mm plywood without any issues. Review: I love my laser - I went from an XTool diode to this and I love it. Wish I had the space for a larger OMTech but this works great in my craft room. Cuts like a dream and excellent customer service. Highly recommend. ### ⭐ Never buy Omtech *by J***A on October 10, 2025* I’ve ordered 3 different omtech lasers now and none of them have worked. I previously had the gweike cloud but had a fire (my stupidity) so decided to try and try the polar lite. The engraving looked awful from the start but I didn’t get to mess around long because all the sudden the laser power supply quick working. Omtech sent me a new one (had to wait 2 weeks to get it) but I still couldn’t get it working. Omtechs quality control is non existent.
