Review: Excellent safety measure that's cost effective. - I did some work in my loft and noted that my bathroom downlights were linked to a near burnt connector block. Having sorted this out the reality of a fire in the loft did become a reality and so I decided that I'd go for these to keep my units cooler and away from the insulation. These are great items and easy to fit and just give you peace of mind when you're looking up at the ceiling.
Review: Excellent sturdy product - So easy to install using a non solvent type adhesive just position over lights with cabling in the correct position and draw round with a pencil apply a thin line of adhesive just inside the line and press firmly into place they seem to have cured the discolouring of the ceiling. Mine where fitted in a loft new insulation placed around them and smaller pieces placed on top to cover. Simple

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty satisfied with the product as a physical barrier

Have 3 down-lights in the bathroom and used this product to protect top-up loft insulation I was laying. Unfortunately two of the lights were close to structural supports in the loft, so had to trim the Thermahoods; this was relatively easy with a junior hacksaw. While they are no longer air tight and will not totally prevent heat loss due to cutting, they still act as a suitable physical barrier to prevent contact between the lights and the insulation. Overall, pretty satisfied with the product.
