I have purchased from many different vendors over the years always looking for the best without the high price tag, which isn’t always easy. Most elderberries, especially organic are going to include some stems and off colored berries. I expect that and just accept that’s the nature of dried elderberries. When I opened this package to sort thru them I was amazed! To say there were only a few stems and NO discolored berries is absolutely amazing! There berries were bright and fragrant and all the same uniform color. Not a single discolored berry in the entire pound, and literally only a few stems. It was as if someone personally sorted these for me. Of all the elderberries I have purchased over the years, I have to say that these were one of the best if not THE best! Will they always come this way? That I don’t know, but I will tell you at this point, they have all my future orders.
