I didn't know what to expect. I'm not very fond of coconutty things, but this isn't heavy on the coconut flavor, just a rich, slightly sweet, firm textured, delicious rice. It goes with everything I've paired it with so far, even smoked salmon. I'd say give it a try.

**Q: Doe it contain oniin or garlic?**
A: Nope just plain white rice is what i received.

A: Its Jasmine (white)  rice. It does mot have animal milk. Its labeled vegan and contains coconut milk.  There is a mild coconut milk background but the lime and lemongrass are the main flavors. Its a great flavorful rice that can be paired with, Thai, Indian, or Latin cuisine (and others). Amazon has a great price on it and its always been shipped fresh. I've never seen any quality control issue with tasty bite. Cheers

A: Under the supervision of Rabbi Avraham Binyamin of the Kosher Certification of India, all TastyBite products are certified Kosher. Unlike many Kosher foods I've tried, the portions are good sized also. Hope this helps.

Trying healthier foods and this came up as one I could get so I tried it out, Love the flavor, it's filling and goes well with Tasty Bite Variety Bombay Potatoes, Kashmir Spinach, Punjab Eggplant, Channa Masala, Madras Lentils and Vegetable Korm. Would recommend to others. The only down side is the rice is all the way at the top so you have to push it down before heating it.
