While I originally purchased it because I loved the black and white checkered pattern and organic shape, it’s turned out to be just as functional as it is cute. The ceramic construction feels sturdy and has enough weight that it stays in place on the counter without sliding around or tipping over. It’s also large enough to hold bigger cooking utensils including silicone spatulas, wooden turners, serving spoons, and even tongs. I’ve run it through the dishwasher multiple times on the top rack and haven’t had any issues with fading, scratches, chips, or cracks. The finish still looks like new. I also haven’t experienced any staining or problems with cooking drips running off the edges. The size was exactly what I expected based on the listing photos. It’s large enough to be useful without taking up too much counter space. Overall, this is one of those kitchen accessories that’s both practical and decorative. If you’re looking for a spoon rest that can handle everyday cooking while adding a little personality to your kitchen, I would definitely recommend it. Review: Decor - It’s dishwasher safe!
