I didn't think I was, but it turns out that I am made of strong stuff. *by D***L on 12 October 2017* I've always been a fruit and nut man. Middle of the road chocolate treats to satisfy my sweet tooth. And then I decided to go rogue and eat my way up the scale of dark chocolate to the hallowed ground of 90% proof. And here we are. The first bite was crisp and satisfying, with small shards of the chocolate breaking off at the side of my mouth, almost as if I was in the actual Lindt advert. The first chew of this dark slab of bitter wonderfulness completely sucked the moisture from my mouth, leaving it drier than the sole of a camel's foot*. The bitterness oozed down my throat in what I thought was an unpleasant experience at first, but turned in to a complete delight, with my body and mind instantly craving more of this noir prince of treats. Within 5 minutes the bar was demolished and my soul was complete.
