We looked at a number of recycling bins and some with food waste bins included as an accessory but that still didn’t give us the number of other bins we needed for the separate streams. We already have a bench top compost bin so much of the bulky not cooked food waste goes in there, but the remaining cooked leftovers or skins and bones are what’s left for us. Given we were restricted on space I looked carefully to see if this bin could fit in the cupboard under the sink as we have a hot water tank there as well as filters etc. (see attached photos) I am pleased to say it fitted perfectly into the space available and now works seamlessly as it can be accessed while clearing away instead of going to the utility room (where all our recycling bins are) and having to dispose of food there. There are no filters and the lid is a fairly loose fit, albeit easily opened in either direction, but it does seem to stop odours from escaping and emptying once a week (more if necessary) keeps any bad smells at bay. All in all a very useful and economical choice. ## Features - Premium Material: This hanging kitchen trash can is made of thickened plastic and has great abrasion resistance, drop resistance and durability. - Two Opening Ways Compost Bin: Cupboard bins for kitchen comes with lid to prevent odour spillage, two options to open the lid, fild lid up or slide lid down - Two Installation Ways: This kitchen bin is equipped with cabinet hook up and adhesive sticker, you can choose to hang the hook on the cabinet (Thickness of cabinet door should be less than 2.5cm/0.95inch) or stick the sticker on the cupboard or wall, no need to bend down, easy to use. - Wide Application: The small bins can be use to kitchen, cupboard, bathroom, worktop, living room, bedroom, campervan or other any places. - Dimension & After-sales: There are 2 size available, ideal for dry and wet waste sorting. 26.6x14.8x22/30cm(L x W x H), if you have any problem, please feel free to contact us. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CMC8KC2T | | Best Sellers Rank | 61,848 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 140 in Under Kitchen Counter Bins | | Brand | Warmiehomy | | Capacity | 1.8 gallons | | Colour | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 132 Reviews | | Finish Type | Smooth | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 26.6L x 14.8W x 22H centimetres | | Item Shape | Rectangular | | Manufacturer | Warmiehomy | | Material | Polypropylene | | Material Type | Polypropylene | | Opening Mechanism | Pull-Out | | Opening mechanism | Pull-Out | | Recommended Uses For Product | Indoor | | Recommended uses for product | Indoor | | Room Type | Bathroom, Kitchen | | Special Features | Odor Seal, Portable, Removable Lid | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Warmiehomy - **Capacity:** 1.8 gallons - **Colour:** White - **Finish type:** Smooth - **Material:** Polypropylene - **Opening mechanism:** Pull-Out - **Recommended uses for product:** Indoor - **Room type:** Bathroom, Kitchen - **Shape:** Rectangular - **Special feature:** Odor Seal, Portable, Removable Lid ## Images ![Warmiehomy 7L Hanging Trash Bin with Lid for Kitchen Cabinet Door - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61uJ9KCz30L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended *by F***R on 4 May 2026* Good quality and perfect size ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Small and compact - ideal for the job. *by A***N on 6 August 2025* I chose this bin as recycling these days requires so many different bins we were running out of space, so this was the ideal choice for separating out the small amount of food waste we have. I chose to use the adhesive pads to fix it and they hold it perfectly. Liners are a bit fiddly to put in but I found some that work with it. It is smart and modern looking and I love that you can slide the lid forward and down to have even more access to the bin.
