Then these easy to use, highly effective LockStrips are what you need.As a family of a school teacher, the daily concern plaques us every morning. The thought of something horrific happening sometimes pop up in your mind. What are our government and schools doing to protect our students and faculty on these campuses nationwide? It's time we step up to take the little steps in helping protect our next generation of leaders. The LockStrip is a durable magnet that is designed to restrict the locking mechanism on a door from latching to the striker plate. It is meant to be placed on a metal door frame at the beginning of the day and remains magnetized throughout the day. While in place, it allows for students, staff, and administrators to come and go as they please freely. All the while, the door remains locked. In case of a lockdown or active shooter situation, the LockStrip removes in seconds. Just prop the door open 6-8" and pull/push/slide the LockStrip off the door frame and allow the locked door to latch in place. The magnet is strong enough to stay put throughout the day but easy enough to remove in an emergency. The LockStrip eliminates the need to grab your key ring, fumble around with 10+ keys, walk out into the hallway and lock your door from the outside. It causes an increased threat to both the school staff and students in the classroom. Before using, please check with local fire officials as well as school safety officials before implementation of the LockStrips. Fire codes and doors vary across the country. If Columbine locks are a huge financial concern for your school or district, these magnetic strips are an inexpensive alternative to replacing the locks. The LockStrips are most beneficial for doors that lock from the outside.Use at your own risk. ## Features - WHY BUY FROM US - Standing behind our products and customer buying experience means everything to us and our business.
