At my home office I use a lot of electronics, and my biggest priority was finding a power strip that could withstand high power usage without potentially breaking or catching fire. I settled on Anker because it offers 2000J protection, which is higher than most generic protectors on desertcart, and because of the brand's reputation for durable products. Needless to say it works perfectly for my purposes and the build quality is excellent. I also appreciate that its thoughtful design allows it to be compact, accessible with well-placed outlets, and organized. You can easily buy another surge protector at half the price, but I do think this one is worth the investment. For me it offers peace of mind that my electronics are protected and that a fire won't start. Since it's in use 24/7 I don't mind at all investing in something with better functionality and build quality. Some reviews mention that the shape of the surge protector's plug is inconvenient. The plug shape is unusual but in my set up I have no issues with the direction of the cord or accessing the outlet next to it. For me, I keep the protector to the right of the outlet and use a regular size plug in the socket next to it with no issues. But yes, be mindful about whether that particular setup works for you. Review: Excellent Power Strip with a Smart Design - This Anker power strip is very well designed and feels solid and dependable. The combination of multiple AC outlets, USB charging, and 2000-joule surge protection makes it extremely useful for a desk, bedroom, or travel setup. The flat plug is especially convenient behind furniture, and the 5-foot cord provides plenty of flexibility. Everything works reliably, charging is fast, and the compact design keeps cables much more organized. Excellent quality and definitely worth buying. ## Features - 11-in-1 Power: Features 8 AC outlets, 2 USB-A ports, and 1 USB-C port to help keep your room powered. Anker quality. *by N***T on August 18, 2026* I really like Anker as a brand and I can't think of when I have been disappointed in any of their products. I needed to get a smaller power strip that was not a long thin strip and this fit what I needed. Likes: Love the overall compact design. Love the well-packaged way in which I received the strip. First thing I noticed is the small angled plug with a 5 ft cord. Lots of plugs here on top and the side, plus USB ports. For me, the size was great. Lots of space between the plugs as well making using this strip easy. This is deceptively able to handle many items of needed. Dislikes: None. Great design and works perfectly. Overall: Perfect. I am very pleased again. ## Frequently Bought Together - Anker Surge Protector Flat Plug Power Strip 2000J, 5ft Thin Extension Cord with 8 Outlets, 2 USB A and 1 USB C Port, 20W for iPhone15, Wall Mount, Compact for Home, Office, Room, TUV Listed - Anker Surge Protector Power Strip (2100J), 12 Outlets with 1 USB-C/2 USB-A Ports for iPhone 16/16 Plus/16 Pro/16 Pro Max, 5ft Extension Cord, Flat Plug, 20W USB-C Charging for Home, Office,TUV Listed - Anker Flat Plug Power Strip(300J) with 20W USB-C, 10-in-1 Ultra Thin Power Strip with 6 AC, 2 USB-A/2 USB-C,5feet Extension Cord, Desk Charging Station,Home Office College Dorm Essentials --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.gr/products/595736810-anker-power-strip-with-2000j-surge-protector-5ft-outlet-extender](https://www.desertcart.gr/products/595736810-anker-power-strip-with-2000j-surge-protector-5ft-outlet-extender) --- *Product available on Desertcart Greece* *Store origin: GR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
