Needless to say it works perfectly for my purposes and the build quality is excellent. I also appreciate that its thoughtful design allows it to be compact, accessible with well-placed outlets, and organized. You can easily buy another surge protector at half the price, but I do think this one is worth the investment. For me it offers peace of mind that my electronics are protected and that a fire won't start. Since it's in use 24/7 I don't mind at all investing in something with better functionality and build quality. Some reviews mention that the shape of the surge protector's plug is inconvenient. The plug shape is unusual but in my set up I have no issues with the direction of the cord or accessing the outlet next to it. For me, I keep the protector to the right of the outlet and use a regular size plug in the socket next to it with no issues. But yes, be mindful about whether that particular setup works for you.
