I draw designs on my iPad for embroidery, and it's easy to trace the design directly from my screen onto the sheet since it's somewhat translucent. Gets a little sticky as you handle it, since sweaty hands and skin oils will start to dissolve the material. You also may need to wash it out a few times with thicker/more solid embroidery. The material under the threads might not fully wash away and can leave a residue as it seeps through the fibers.
