I was living in Colorado with very hard water and had developed a lot of buildup on my hair between the minerals in the water and the silicones that are in almost every hair product. My hair was rough, unmanageable, and looked oily the next day. I paired this conditioner with "Redken Detox Hair Cleansing Cream Clarifying Shampoo" (once weekly and once the buildup was gone once monthly) and I had the hair I had always wanted. I could brush it right out of the shower without spending 30 minutes doing it, it was so soft and nice to touch, flowed beautifully and didn't look oily right away. Unfortunately I've since moved to an area with soft water and it no longer has the effect it did with hard water, so I'm going to have to experiment with other products until I find a new balance that works.
