## Description

The Capri Tools Double Flaring Tool lets you create perfect 45-degree SAE double flares in half the time compared to old generation flaring tools. Its compact and portable design lets you work both off vehicle and on vehicle, even in tight spots. The die can be detached so you can also work with a bench vise for more grip. The tool works flawlessly with 3/16 in. non-stainless steel, nickel, and copper tubing. This is an all-in-one tool. A 10 mm and a 17 mm wrenches are the only other tools you need to start making perfect double flares.

Review: Perfect doubles flares every time - I had also bought one of the cheap vice-held sets that wasn't fit for purpose. This, however, is a good quality item that produces perfect double flares every time. The grip holds the pipe firmly without damage and without needing to overtighten the nuts. The best thing is that all the critical settings, e.g. how far the pipe protrudes, how much the formers should be tightened down, are all controlled so no guesswork is required. Also, the formers are kept square to the pipe producing nice symmetrical flares - this is the big weakness with the cheap sets. Great tool and well worth the money.

**Q: The tools says 3/16 but the style optiom is only 3/4 which is it?**
A: I bought one of these in July 2020 and used it to install brake lines on an antique vehicle. As stated in the description, "The tool works flawlessly with 3/16 in. steel, nickel, and copper tubing. "

A: Don't own Titan, but they look identical, just a different handle shape.
