Something obviously noticeable as "not live round" type. That's why I am not a big fan of using those dummies made from real casings with holes drilled in them. As a training tool, people should be aware when dummies are loaded and when live rounds are chambered. Assuming you have live rounds loaded can be just as dangerous as the alternative. Imagine thinking your weapon is loaded and confronting an intruder. Now that you introduced the gun and escalated the situation your only option is to throw it at 'em. These were sufficiently accurate to the real deal in weight, handling and function.
