My dog is a cross between staffie and ridgeback so needed something with a bit of oomph to it and this is perfect. I've not tried with a lead attached as I use harness but I would imagine it would do the job well. For the price it is worth every penny. It looks smart too. The collar is thick, padded with an exceptionally strong clip and large solid D ring. Will become my new puppies main collar when it fits.
