I’ve used Velcro for years. This is just on a whole other level. The adhesive backing is extremely strong as I’ve removed guitar pedals from my board several times and everything remains attached. Speaking of attached, this stuff is strong. A little goes a long way. You don’t need nearly as much to keep things as attached and stable compared to Velcro. Consider yourself warned because you’ll have a heck of a time trying to remove pedals from your pedal board if you use too much. I’ve used the stuff for so many things around the house and I continue to find uses for it. While it’s not cheap, you won’t be replacing it like you do Velcro.
