I’ve had a flag on it for a week now and it hasn’t loosened at all. Mostly 20-40mph speeds. I did go 50 a couple times. I don’t know if I’d trust it on continuous highway speeds though. Do not buy this if you’re truck doesn’t have plastic trim piece running along side the bed. Otherwise you’ll scratch your paint. You also need a thick flag pole. I wouldn’t trust this at all with a thin and flimsy pole. You have to go out a buy a $30-50 pole. I’d also suggest using a lightweight flag. You might think you want to buy a thick fabric that will hold up better without tearing, but I think the extra weight would cause too much drag at higher speeds. You’re better off with a cheap lightweights $5 polyester flag.
