I mostly use the duller side of the rod for deep muscle pressure on my face and I use the gua sha to cover a lot of area. Both of these have significantly improved my pain levels from clenching. I like the little bag and the cleaning cloth provided. Very nice. To give some scale to how good these were and how quickly I fell in love with them, I got them then lost the rod like 2 days later and immediately bought a second set.
