I purchased these at the same time I ordered a 3D DLP mini-projector. I was used to a LG TV that used "Real 3D" passive glasses. Same glasses used in theaters. Once I learned how these worked and understood the setup I was happy with the purchase. The one negative was the placement of the on/off button. Dead center and flush with the frame on top. While wearing the glasses it's difficult to find an press. I had to take them off to find and press the button to get them to sync. I found it a few times while wearing them, pure luck I think. That is the only reason for the 4 rating vs 5. Bottom line is they work very well otherwise. Nice style, as if that mattered watching a movie in a dark room.
