Easy assembly. It was practically complete straight out of the box. Placed it as instructed on my desk and laid my feet on the hammock. It is pleasurable. There is a non-slip material so the hooks don't slide up and down the side of the desk. I'm a big guy and I feel comfortable & confident putting the full weight of my legs/feet on the hammock.
