**Q: Will this work on 220v outlets?**
A: Yes, it will. The other answers are not addressing the actual question. The unit does not convert power, but it will pass 240 VAC to the 3 outlets without issue. Make sure whatever you plug into the outlets can handle 240 VAC and you'll be good to go. An easy way to do that is to inspect individual devices - if they say 120/240, you're good.

I have used this unit in Europe many times. All you need is an adapter on the plug to connect it to the wall. After that, each individual device will be powered by 240 VAC, so make sure they can handle it. An example is a USB wall charger; the vast majority are rated at 120/240, so you'd have no trouble connecting one to this unit.

**Q: Does this have built-in surge protection?**
A: Indeed it does! A total of 8 safety features including short-circuit protection, surge protection, fire resistance, and more…

**Q: How many joules of surge protection?**
A: 300 Joules is what is on the table comparison at the bottom (they probably just recently added it). Seems a little on the weak side for surge protection but I could be wrong.

Solid product, Anker is almost always a safe bet. Form factor is great whether you're using it as a desktop charger or a stealth couch charger. This one fits perfectly between the back cushions of my couch out of the way and the a outlets are super handy to plug my neck massager into. If you don't have a couch with ac/usb outlets built in this is a solid option. Got it for a great price
