Review: Best, easiest to use timer - Pros: Large, highly visible numbers that can be seen from across the room. Very simple operation. The two magnets on the back hold it firmly in place on my stove's black hood, and I love how the timer blends in. The timer can of course be taken off and placed on the counter, or just about anywhere else. There's even a nifty little hook (folds down into the back side if not in use) if you choose to hang it on a narrow peg or something. The numbers on the display are easy to see. I can see them clearly from above the stove to where I often sit, 30 feet away in the living room. There are three volume settings - two are audible and the third is no sound. When the timer goes off I can clearly hear the lower beeping sound from 30 feet away, but if the TV is on I prefer it on the higher setting. The only change I would make for this timer is for it to be rechargeable instead of battery powered (runs on three AAA batteries which were included), but that doesn't take away from this being a 5-star timer, in my opinion. It seems to be nice quality - time and use will tell how long it lasts.

Pros: Large, highly visible numbers that can be seen from across the room. Very simple operation. Timer alarm is loud enough to hear in the next room but not annoyingly loud. Volume seems just right. Easy to use the fold out stand. Strong magnet keeps it positioned on metal surface without sliding down. The buttons are large and high quality. I bought one for my kitchen cooking timer. Liked it so much I bought a second one as a workout timer for my home gym.

This timer is efficient, simple to use, and reasonably priced. The two magnets on the back hold it firmly in place on my stove's black hood, and I love how the timer blends in. The timer can of course be taken off and placed on the counter, or just about anywhere else. There's even a nifty little hook (folds down into the back side if not in use) if you choose to hang it on a narrow peg or something. The numbers on the display are easy to see. I can see them clearly from above the stove to where I often sit, 30 feet away in the living room. There are three volume settings - two are audible and the third is no sound. When the timer goes off I can clearly hear the lower beeping sound from 30 feet away, but if the TV is on I prefer it on the higher setting. The only change I would make for this timer is for it to be rechargeable instead of battery powered (runs on three AAA batteries which were included), but that doesn't take away from this being a 5-star timer, in my opinion. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for low vision

I gifted this to a friend with low vision (macular degeneration) and the numbers are so large that she can see them even though she can no longer use a computer or read the directions on a box of cake mix, for example. Operation is so simple and she's able to use it successfully. After walking her through the directions, she made herself an illustration of what the buttons are for on the top of the timer. And she appreciates the volume adjustment on the right-hand side to be able to hear if she's not right next to it. Success!
