My roller arrived this morning and I immediately got it out and tried it on the back of my hand. It rolls smoothly, the needles are absolutely tiny, and I could barely feel it on my hand. This gave me the courage to use it on my face as shown in the instructions and on various videos that I had watched beforehand. The 0.25 needles really don't hurt as you are rolling, and the feeling and appearance afterwards is more of slight sunburn than anything else. Since I forgot to buy a serum, I did as another reviewer had done, and applied some Savlon to my face after using it. My husband came home but didn't say anything about my skin, so I guess it wasn't too noticeable. It's late evening now and the redness has almost subsided, and my skin feels lovely and smooth and not sore at all. I will definitely be getting a 0.5 roller to work on the areas of my face that are scarred. As someone else wrote, if you are thinking of buying one, just do it and you won't be disappointed.
