Worked a treat for about 3-4 months, doing exactly what I wanted/expected, but then stopped. Thought it was the battery at first, charged it up (even though I had already done that recently), but still no good. Couldn't get the light to come on at all. Started wiggling the wire between the motion sensor and the light a bit and it briefly flickered on for a second. Realised the (internal) wiring must have been broken.Hoping it was just an unfortunate one-off, I purchased this item again in August 2018. Noted this time there was a cut-off of the 20 Sept for refund/return (i.e. about a month after purchase). Again, the product worked absolutely fine until mid-October (2018), when the light stopped working. Again, charged it (although, again, it hadn't been that long since I'd last charged). Same thing - looks like the internal wiring broke. Of course too late for refund or return.Please note this product has not been abused or handled roughly in any way. It has only been used for the intended purpose and the rim width of my toilet is standard. I can only give this a 1-star rating because it keeps breaking so easily. I understand that the price isn't exactly expensive, and I wasn't expecting to get a decade out of it, but I want something that will last more than a few months! Maybe I've just been exceptionally unlucky. Not sure I feel like trying a third time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Novelty but worth it. *by W***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 May 2018* Bought it for a laugh but it really does what the description says it does. As an old gent I make a few trips to the bathroom most nights and now I don't get the glare of the light. The sensor 'sees' me coming and the bathroom is lit by a soft light that changes through eight colors in two minutes and it'snot such a chore any more.
