Fortunately I checked and the actual devices were imperial. If you know how to read a micrometer, the instructions will tell you how to calibrate the devices, kind of, but you have to know to use the included calibration pieces which is obvious but it doesn’t mention them. If you don’t know how to read a micrometer don’t expect information from the instructions. You will need to learn elsewhere, but they are more on how to operate them than on how to read them. The actual devices seem sturdy, mine were smooth to operate and easy to calibrate, assuming the calibration pieces are correct. They have a scale all the way to 10’s (10,000ths not “10ths”) as they should, but nothing I’m doing with them requires that much accuracy lol.
