I even added 2 drops to a can of Campbell's stew and, with a healthy dose of Lizano sauce, it became edible enough almost to finish. Impressive. I used this as a 1:1 replacement for normal, pure hickory liquid smoke with jerky. The added ingredients we're not noticeable (though appreciated in other meals). It turned out just fine and I don't actually feel the need to buy a replacement until this runs out. With the pecan being so mild, I will try half again what any recipe calls for in the future. Wright's is just water and smoke but is watered down. the best of the best IMHO is Cedar House Premium Liauid Smoke. just water and smoke, concentrated so u r not using half the bottle like Wright's and has such a true smoke flavor. it's more expensive but it is so clearly worth it and since u dont need much it is economical in a way.
