Review: Sturdy and nice quality - I was looking for something to get my amp off the floor and easy to move around. I was a little put off by the reviews about poor quality and difficulty in assembling the stand. Well, I'm glad I took a chance on it. It's a great piece of kit and I had it assembled in about 15 minutes. As other have already said, use a decent socket set and it's a piece of cake. Everything lined up and the threads were all good. The stand itself has a good weight to it and doesn't feel at all flimsy. The finish on it is perfect and the wheels are way better than I thought they'd be. I have hard floors so they glide beautifully. I'm not sure how they'd fare on a carpet though. Not the cheapest available but well worth the money for a small studio setup. You do need to set it up so that the upright on the angled top doesn't interfere with your mains input but you just adjust the width bar at the bottom to go either one side of it or the other.

I was looking for something to get my amp off the floor and easy to move around. I was a little put off by the reviews about poor quality and difficulty in assembling the stand. I used this product for a slightly different use. I have been looking for a compact, mobile guitar unit/cabinet which will hold my guitar, amp and cables and I will be able to move around, but could not find one that fit to the only space available in my small flat. I am now using the top part as the guitar stand, and the area below as the amp rack. The small space behind holds a small box to keep the cables and other stuff. When I want to play the guitar, I can easily carry the unit around and bring back when I am finished. Plus, it became very easy to keep the pieces tidy and organized. Overall, worked perfectly for me.
