I have a big head, 25" around, and while it was slightly tight at maximum strap adjustment, it wasn't uncomfortable. It sealed well against my face, only leaked if I didn't adjust it right.The surprising thing was how difficult it is to breathe in these - you have to apply effort to push the air in and out if you're upright. It eases up a little if you lay face down in the water, in proper snorkeling position.The water blocking floater ball worked great too...I'd dunk at full speed, and it instantly cut off the air and water flow. It's a little scary until you get used to it, because you don't even have a snorkels length's worth of extra air to suck down after submersion...you are just instantly cut off from oxygen. Surfacing again, you don't get any water down the tube, you're just suddenly able to breathe again. Clever system!Original review: This is one of those "never knew I wanted it until I saw it for the first time" purchases.I'm all about survival prepping and buying cool camping/outdoor gear, so my first thought on seeing this was "oh my gosh, this is like the old breathe through a reed while hiding underwater trick, but I can see everything going on and the tube won't get blocked by a curious bee or something". I bought the mostly-black one to help hide me at night, for water escapes. :)But on to the realistic review! This mask seems very well made. It just plain looks cool, like a dark reverse narwhal or unicorn or something. And the snorkel folds down by releasing a clip. It has a floating ball inside the snorkel to seal off the water when you submerge completely.I got the L/XL, because I have a big head - 25" diameter around the top of my skull, size 8+ in hats. The mask fits, although the straps are tight just over the edge of uncomfortable. I might adjust them with extra elastic (I know how to sew/craft/improvise), or add my own on instead. The inner seal around my face feels solid - I couldn't feel any air leaks breathing out of water, and nothing came in when I filled my bathtub and stuck my face in it.The fog resistance...eh, not so much that I could tell. The mouth and nose area definitely fogged up just from regular breathing, and the eye area looked like it was just barely starting to follow suit. I guess I could buy anti-fog chemicals to treat it with.Also comes with a mesh storage bag with convenient hanging loops, and a GoPro mounting kit. I may need to get a GoPro one of these days, it seems like every outdoor wearable accessory I buy has clips for them.Overall, I love this thing, it makes me feel like James Bond! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for recreational snorkelers *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2019* Bought these for snorkeling on a cruise trip, instead of renting from the ship (which would have been standard gear, and cost more).They work great, and seem to be of very high quality. Didn't take any effort to get them hooked up and working, and I experienced NO LEAKAGE. A really nice feature of these full-face units, is that they self-clear when even the smallest amount of water leaks in. They don't really fog up, either, like normal masks do.The only challenge to using these, is that it felt like I had to labor a little harder to breathe well. I think that's a combination of the effects of the double-valve system in the front of the mask, as well as the convoluted tube-and-ball-valve that you inhale through. My girlfriend mentioned that she didn't like that, either, but then again we both used them for a few hours without incident. I really preferred it to a traditional snorkel, as I'm an amateur and always choke on water when diving and coming back up. With these, you just breathe normally, and the intake seals itself when you dive. When it seals, you'll feel a solid vacuum, which is a little startling the first time, but to me it was a lot easier than choking on salt water.These come with a net bag (very handy for carrying them while they dry) and a mount for your go-pro if you need one. Nice bonus touches, but really for this price the masks were a great deal by themselves.I haven't used these for more than a few days, but the rubber gasket materials seemed very sturdy, so I would expect these to hold up fairly well under medium use -- longer if washed and maintained. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would recommend, though sizes aren't exactly two sizes fit all *by L***I on Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2018* I'm a first time snorkeler, I tested this at the YMCA before we got ready to go on vacation in a temperature controlled pool. Ultimately I ordered this for myself and reviewed it as such, but I did list a couple of cons since it didn't fit my husbandPros:L/XL fit me perfectly, I am 5.75" from my nose bridge to the bottom of my chinThe design feels very comfortable to wear and secure on my headI like that the tube is fold-able for storage and that it came with a mesh bag for air flow and dryingLOVE that when I dove shallow there was a floating ball mechanism that prevented water from being sucked into the tube until you re-surfaced.Cons:It was too small for my husband.
